Mdina is the old capital city of Malta. It is a medieval walled town situated on a hill in the center of the island. Property in Mdina ’s city walls is old, yet has a certain charm to it and is of course difficult to come by. Rich with history, property in Mdina is complimented by medical sights and churches. Mdina is also home to one of Malta’s most famous cafeteria’s who’s chocolate cake shouldn't be missed. Mdina is very quiet and is dubbed the ’silent city’ and has a population of only 300. A point to note is that only a limited number of vehicles owned by residents of the city are allowed inside.
