Santa Lucija is another small village with only around 4000 inhabitants. It is considered to be a modern town in Malta as it was developed during the 20th century. Santa Lucija is positioned on the bypass between Tarxien and Luqa and has developed into an attractive housing estate which is surrounded by cultivated land.
