Xghajra is a small village found in the East of Malta along the coast, bordering with Zabbar. Locals enjoy living by the seaside as well as living in the village- like areas of Xghajra. Of course, one can understand that during the hot summer months the population doubles. Local fisherman can be seen here, as this is a past time still enjoyed by many. One may notice the many boat houses on the sea side, which are mostly used during the summer. However, for some these are their permanent homes.
